Hey everybody!! Today's email is gonna be short because I don't really like writing them haha. This week was good! We had exchanges and the other sisters came to Marion with us and that was so much fun! We live across from the jail and that really freaked one of the sisters out haha. I like looking at the jail everymorning because im happy I'm not there. Transfer calls are this Saturday so I'll know if I am leaving this area by next pday! I really love it here in Marion and Abingdon, but I'll be really sad to leave. I had a scaryish experience yesterday so I'm feeling okay if i do leave. Thanks for all the emails yall have been sending me! Sorry if I haven't answered you haha, I kind of suck at emailing. I really do appreciate the emails though! Something that I ate last week that was really yummy was fish tacos!! They were from macados and they were so good!!  We took one of our friends soup and he lives in a bunch of bamboo, I didn't know there was bam...

Alright so writing my weekly email is not my favorite thing to do. But I'm gonna try so hard to make this a good one. (mainly because mom is paying this lady to make a book of all my emails, but whatever)  Okay sooooooo this week started off great with zone conference! That was sooo good and such a spiritual high! I learned that I have lots of room to grow hahah, this week I'm gonna become a better teacher I just know it. Ummm zone conference was in North Carolina so I've now been to Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee!! Hopefully I'll hit all the states before I come home! I had a rough day on Wednesday, but that's besides the point! Thursday was a really really good day! First we had a lesson with our homrgirl Angel and she is so sweet! She has really bad dementia and has forgot that we put her on date to be baptized... twice  After her lesson we went to this cultural center and the building was huge, but we met our friend Jack there! Okay so this week was alright!! I got to go to a college campus and met this member, she was so so cool and so fun to talk too! I think we stood outside and talked for probably an hour! It was fun to be on a college campus, it was weird to see a bunch of people our age, haven't in a while!!  A couple of weeks ago we found this lady and her boyfriend and got a return appointment with them. Her boyf is a member, but she is not. They have been taught by missionaries since 2016 and haven't really progressed because of word of wisdom problems. When we had went back to their house for our first lesson they told us that they had quit what they were doing 10 days ago. We looked on the calender and they stopped doing what they were doing the day we had found them. Really really cool miracle!!  We went to an escape room today and that was really fun! We got out in 49 minutes so that was very good!!  Hope you all have a good week!!  Love you  Sister Merritt!

Welp, this week was a little better, but still very hard! I wasn't as emotional at the end of the week so that was good! It's just hard because I don't feel as motivated anymore, but I will be again! My testimony is still growing, it's getting stronger which is good! I'm trying really hard to love and bond with my companion. It's hard haha, we are very different! I can do it though! We had exchanges this week so I got to be with sister Goldbaum for a day and that was so good! I didn't want that day to be over :( we saw some big horses and we took pictures with them! We acted liked we have never seen horses before lol I'll bear my testimony to y'all:  I want to tell you about how I feel about Jesus Christ. He's great, I have never loved him more than I do now. He's the best example! He was perfect. And I know that we are all far from perfect, I as a missionary am far far far from perfect.. I strive for it every day, but I still make mistakes! ...
