Hey Y'all, this was a crazy week, it was long and a little sad, but it was good. We had transfers this week, so I had to say goodbye to Sister Asay... rip, I'm really sad her and I won't be comps anymore. It's fine though... My new comp is sister Garbett and she is a super hard worker which is awesome because I really want to work very hard this transfer. LOL our toilet flooded this week, that was terrible. Hahaha rip Here's some miracles we saw this week. 1st day of the transfer miracle!!  there was someone in our Area book who didn't have an apartment number. we decided to knock around in hopes we would find her. with no luck, it was getting dark and we decided to knock one more at the very top floor, when they opened we asked for our friend who we were looking for and they said she lived there! We introduced the Book of Mormon and set a return appointment!! God is so good!! Woah miracle in Weaverrrrville Okay so we just had a lesson with our two new friends R...

Wow so this week was insane! Okay so this week didn't really kick off up until Friday. I was sick all week and then my comp got a little sick too, so it was rough. I'm good now, just a little bit of after effects of a cold. The last half of my week was crazy let me tell ya, it was really good, fun, crazy, a little sad, but very memorable. On Friday I went on exchanges with Sister Seegrist in Marion NC and that was super fun. We had some good conversations and I about got hit by a truck, but we are all good. Saturday was INSANE. We had service set up to go and help one of our friends that we are teaching clean her trailer home. She told us it was bad, but when she said bad I didn't think she meant BAD. There were spider webs everywhere, cat poop, kitty litter, clothes everywhere, you couldn't see the floor, cigarettes galor, you name it and it was probably hiding somewhere in that house. Anyways a job I did whole we were there was clean up spider webs, such a perfect job...

Happy Happy Monday :)    Wow this week went by crazy quick, time is flying by and it's scaring me. I had a really good week, a lot happened so here ya go.      Something that I wanted to tell you about this week is that we are teaching this lady and her name is Sherlie. She is the sweetest thing ever, she isn't really religious at all. Growing up her parents weren't religious so neither was she. She had a tough past, she's lost a lot of her children and family members. We have only taught her twice so far, we taught her what the book of Mormon is the first time we were there and then we taught her the restoration the second time. We brought a really sweet old member to the lesson with us and while we were teaching about the dispensation we asked the member about prophets and she brought up the time in our church when African Americans weren't allowed to learn or be apart of our church. When she was talking about that, I wanted to cry. We quickly explained to her...

Hey y'all, Twas a good week, been super quick. I can't believe how fast time is going, it's making me a little sad.  This week we were in Knoxville and there was a massive storm that we couldn't drive in so we had to stop driving and chill inside west town mall for a little while. I wasn't mad about that, haha I really enjoyed it. We had a zone pday today and that was super super fun, loved that! We had zone conference on Tuesday and that was fun. I got to see sister Saunders and that was so so good, I love her. I also got to see sister Howard and that was good too, I haven't seen her in forever.  We had MLC this week too and that was good, it's cool to just work with other missionaries and council about the mission as a whole.  Things are going good and I love my companion, she is the sweetest thing, we get along really good.  Anyways have a good week.  Love Sister Merritt!
