Hi Guys :) 

 

 

This last week was great, very busy because of Christmas, but the best time to be a missionary. 

 

 

     ZONE CONFERENCE 

 

 

My first zone conference was so so much fun! Being around that many missionaries is just a whole other feeling, I don't know how to explain it. The spirit is soooo strong there and you just feel insanely happy! They had a talent show and that was really fun to watch! It's cool to see all these missionaries talents that Heavenly Father gave them, and watch how they use them to serve him.

 

 

     FOOD

 

 

The food at zone conference was so so yummy. We ate Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, pork with barbecue sauce, and yummy yummy cheese cake!

Idk why, but I am always hungry haha, I think it's because I am always doing something, but I haven't ate any food that I think is gross yet. I think it's because I'm hungry so I will eat anything, idk

Don't worry though, I run every morning, so I'm not gaining weight

 

 

     CHRISTMAS EVE

 

 

Christmas Eve was definitely an answer to my prayers. The night before in our companionship prayer, I prayed for success the next day, success with contacting people, meeting new people, and getting return appointments! Of course we pray for this every night, but this time was different. On Christmas Eve we had cookies to deliver so we went out delivering cookies. We were more successful than usual, people actually answered their doors which is very unusual! But it was good! We gave some cookies to a member who is very inactive and we asked her to come to church with us the next day and she said yes, she actually gave us a ride to church which was awesome! Then we ended up on this weird random road and my companion noticed a house of someone that used to be a member and and said we should take him some cookies, so we did. He and his wife and their little girl were all there and his wife isn't a member and we actually got a return appointment. YAYYYYYY! Do you know how exciting that is? I'm so excited!! Then later that night we went to a motel to study (there's a room with with bunch of couches and tables that they let us study in) and we met the girl that was working there that night and she was so sweet! We got her number which is awesome. Prayers really are answered, you just gotta keep praying and keep having faith that they will be answered! A lot more little blessing happened that day as well! 

 

 

     SUNDAY TALK 

 

 

I was asked to talk on Sunday and introduce myself, I talked about Jesus Christ of course, because Christmas was the day before! And I talked about how I'm changed... here's some of my talk. 

 

 

I've only been a missionary for a little over a month, and I'm a totally different person. I have centered everything on Christ, and I'm happy! I'm not as tired, I don't complain as much, I now take advantage of all the things I have to learn more about my Savior. Because I know the more that I know about him, the more I will become closer to him, be more blessed, and be happy.
