Chill Howie

Okay this week went by so so so fast. Like it's crazy, I've been out in the field for a month now, and a missionary for almost 2 months, like guys, my mission is almost over ;) 

     We had a day full of miracles this week, so I'm mostly just gonna talk about that day and what we did that day! 

     So it was a Thursday and we had district council that day! District council was very fun, and very needed! We went over all of our friends we are teaching and did roleplays. We then eat lunch together, so it's all really fun! After district council we decided to go see our friend Angel, she just moved here from Washington and she was a referral from the Elders that used to teach her. So we kind of decided beforehand that we were gonna invite her to be baptized, because on her timeline it said she had been taught all the lessons. Well we get there and start asking her if she knows what the restoration is.. she said no.... :( we had to change our game plan. Luckily there were soooo many distractions that she had to take care of like the TV, an alarm that was going off, and her dog Lulu needed to go out. So while she was doing that Sister Boyack and I just decided to teach her the restoration. So we were teaching her everything and she was sooooo accepting of it. She didn't question anything, she just agreed and said "wow that's so cool!" When we were teaching her about prophets she said "well you two are my prophets!" We were like nope, we gotta explain that better! But she is so so prepared! We showed her the Ask Of God video and told her to pay attention to the way she feels when we show her this video. At the end of the video we asked how she felt and she said "i feel good, like it's like I'm drunk, but in a happy good way." We told her that that feeling was the spirit, it was the holy ghost, and she was like "it is? Wowwww" So after that I asked her how she felt about baptism, and she said well I've been baptized a long time ago, but I don't really remember it. So I then asked her if she wants the holy ghost/that feeling that she has, with her at all times, and she said yeah of course. So I then gave my first baptismal invitation and said Will you be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost forever and she said "not today, but yes I will be baptized" WHAT AHHHHHH!! I have never been so happy, I'm telling you guys that my happy is a whole different type of happy, it feels sooooo good to share the gospel and watch people accept it and apply it! Later that night we were about to drop this man and his two sons, because we never get in contact with him, so we decided to call him one last time before we drop him. And guess what, he answered!! And we got a return appointment!! We are teaching him and his boys this Wednesday! This day was so so good and full of lots of other miracles too!

    This week haha, we low-key went tracting, and we aren't supposed too. We were trying to find a members house and we think we found it, but no one answered the door :( when we were walking back to the car we saw these cute little black boys, and we were both thinking like dang... we want to teach them... so I was like, what if we just knock on their door and ask if they know where the member lives. So we both decided to do that and long story short we got a return appointment with the dad and his two twin boys!! Super excited about that!! 

    Everyone here in Virginia is afraid of the snow. Everything got shut down because it's supposed to snow 3 feet, it's kind of funny, they canceled church yesterday because of the snow, and half of yesterday it didn't even snow, it was sunny outside! Hahaha funny! It's snowing pretty good today though so that's good I guess! 

Oh and by the way Chilhowie is a little town in my area!
