Rollin Tamales
Hey y'all!!
I can't believe I'm writing my weekly... AGAIN,
Time is going by so so fast for me! I've been a missionary for 4 months now, which is crazy! It feels like I've been a missionary forever, but time has gone by really fast haha!
So this week was great! I love my companion, her and I get along great! She makes me happy and is always so down to have fun with me! So that is the best! Something fun that sister Campbell and I did this week was, one night we came home and it was after 9 and we shut all the lights off and had a rave type thing where we had these big speakers and we played music and danced! (don't worry, it was church approved music). So that was really fun! We are still running every morning and that's always hard, but it'll pay off someday!
There are these members in our ward and their names is the Greenhalghs and I just love them! Sister Campbell had to sing in sacrament with one of the Greenhalgh boys and so we were over at their house a lot this week practicing!! And every time we were there practicing, I was the page turner for Sister Greenhalgh whole she played the piano, but every time Brother Greenhalgh would bring me a bowl of popcorn to eat while they sang or some chocolate milk or things like that, I thought it was awesome! And then one day when we were there, brother Greenhalgh told us that they wanted us to come back that night to help them make Tamales and to eat dinner with them, so of course we did! And that was so much fun! I love being in a home with a family, it makes me really happy!
on Sunday one of our friends came to church and it was her first time being there and I'm not even kidding there were so many distractions. Like so many babies crying this week. But I was just praying the whole time that she would like it there and that she would feel the spirit and that all of the distractions wouldn't bother her. I was praying so hard the whole time during sacrament meeting! Then after sacrament we asked how she liked it and she said that she had a few questions and that she didn't really believe Jesus is judge and that she wasn't sure about that, but she loved how there were so many families there at church, she really liked that! Then after she left and went home, she texted us while we were in relief society and said that she found scriptures that show Jesus as judge. So that was a couple of miracles!
I went to a Chinese buffet this week and that's not really my thing, but they had yummy egg drop soup!
We did service for a couple hours one day where we went around to different peoples houses and took their furniture that they didn't want. Then we took it back to the ecumenical warehouse thing. So that was really fun!
Things are going really good here, and I'm really happy! I'm a little tired though! Lol I hope you all have a good week and stay safe! LOVE Y'ALL!!
