Call Me A Pool Boy

Happy Monday :)

 so this week started on a low and just went all the way up!!

M O N D A Y :

This day was good as always except Monday night we got a text from our friend that we hadn't heard from in a while and he told us that he can no longer meet with us because he is moving to Memphis for a new job. We texted back asking if we could call and we've been trying to get in contact with him and he hasn't answered. This is so sad because he is out friend that was on date for baptism. We are kind of worried about him, but he is in our prayers. 

T U E S D A Y :

Today we didn't have really anything amazing go on. We did some gardening with some members. The we went and saw some of our friends and invited them to watch conference, then the next morning they texted and told us that they don't want to become members of our church and that they don't want to be active in the things we do, which was really sad. So that was rough... But guess what, the week gets sooooooo much better. 

W E D N E S D A Y :

Today we went on exchanges and I got to exchange with sister Pack in Dandridge Tennessee. If any of you remember, I used to live with her my first transfer in the mission. That was really fun, we met this strange guy at this restaurant. He came up to us and sat by us and he told us he knew who missionaries were and he was kind of asking all of the rules we have and he was asking what kind of service we could do and we told him about how we can really do anything we just can't have people be reliant on the service we do every week. And he was like oh well yall and your missionaries friends can come swim at my house some day if you want and we were like we wish. So we told him how we can't swim as missionaries and he goes "oh well can you clean my pool?" and we were like yeah we just can't get in and he was like okay ill have to call you some time. Then we told him that we were on exchanges and he was like oh so you gotta come clean the pool today.. And we had time so we went to this really kind stranger's house and cleaned his pool and water his plants. It was soooo boujee, I will put photos down below! 

T H U R S D A Y :

So today was zone conference, and zone conference was really amazing. They talked all about faith and how we need to talk back to negative thinking. Sister Campbell and I really needed zone conference, it really just motivated us and I'm sure all the other missionaries too, to be better and work harder. At zone conference they do this thing where they call on one companionship to role play in front of everyone and I knew it was gonna be me and Sister Campbell. And guess what... It was us, we got called on to do it, and it was lowkey scary, but it went really good. We got lots of good feedback. We taught the plan of salvation and for me the plan of salvation is the one that stresses me out most because it is so long haha. Today was a really good and motivating day! 

F R I D A Y :

Today not a lot went on! We did go and do service for one of our friends tonight and that was fun. I just hope she knows how much we love her! 

S A T U R D A Y :

AHHHHH GENERAL CONFERENCE!! I've never loved conference more, I also think that's because I actually watched all of it all the way through hahah. Usually when I watch it, Jerian and I will get cozy in our basement and I will be all ready to listen and then... I pass out like one talk in, it was really bad haha! But this conference was soooo good! I told sister campbell that I figured conference was gonna be about missionary work and guess what.. The first two talks were about missionary work! Then we went to Grove Park Tennessee to watch the women's session with all the ladies from the stake. That was fun! Some members drove us and they are the most southern people ever and they are so much fun to be around. 

S U N D A Y : 

Today we just watched conference all day! It was so amazing! The gospel is soooo important! Jesus Christ and Heavenly father are also sooooo important. We have to have faith in them. And we have to turn to them in all things! Also KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE IS GETTING A TEMPLE YAYYYY! I knew it was coming actually, I just knew!! 

Someone told me this week that I act like phoebe from friends because I'm sarcaticly quick and I have good comebacks. Idk what that means, but I think it's a good thing! 

It's a good day to do good!! 

Anyways it's been a good week! All uphill!!
