Imma Need A Tetanus Shot

Guess what Y'all, I've been a missionary for 6 months now, how crazy is that? I feel like I'm still a greenie! Time has gone by really really fast, and I know before I know it, my time will be up :( but as of now, I'm so grateful I'm a missionary.

This week has been insane, so much to do and not enough time to do it, y'all ever feel like that?
Anyways on Monday we had a game night thing at the church and we were gonna play glow in the dark volleyball, but the glow in the dark stuff didn't work so it was just volleyball. Not that I cared either way haha it was still volleyball! A lot of youth showed up and they brought their friends which is awesome because that's exactly what we wanted :) it was so much fun, also one of the youth connected to these speakers and played normal music and that was nice to listen to haha.

On Tuesday not a lot happened, Tuesdays are usually my least favorite days haha. P-day had just ended, we don't have any activities on Tuesday, and they are just lame. So we just visited people this day, had a dinner appointment, we took a member her favorite smoothie from smoothie king and that made her day so that was good. But that's about all :)

Wednesday all but one of the lessons we had planned canceled on us. We had our lesson with Caleb and Elijah and they are doing so good, they understand everything we teach them and they are able to tell it back to us after we tell it to them so they are listening really well! They are on date for this Saturday which is super exciting!

Thursday we had district council, and that was pretty good. Then after we had this HUGE rug and couch in the parking lot that we had to tare up and throw in the dumpster. So they gave me the hammer and I beat that couch up, I got that thing taken apart in no time. I scratched up my hands though, there are some rusty bolts on there that gave my hands some scabs, good thing I have that one shot! I also got a blister too, so that's how you know I was working hard, plus I was soooo sweaty, it was like 85 outside and humid, so that was rough, but the bishop took us to McDonald's after and got us some mcflurries and a $20 gift card which was super nice of him! This night we ate with this cute family, and their little boy wanted a picture with us, so we took one :)

On Friday we went to visit this one member that lived farrrr away, like I'm telling you, he lived clear out there. It was a gorgeous drive to his house though, we were driving through what people call here "mountains" it was really pretty and really green don't get me wrong! Really curvy though! And guess what, homeboy wasn't even there when we got there, we drove about 40 minutes and he wasn't home, so we left a note with our number on it. Then on the way home, the GPS took me on this dirt road up a "mountain" and back down it. We had to stop and take a picture at the top because it was really pretty, plus there were lots of trees, you'll see down below.

On Saturday we mainly just had two lessons that took a majority of our day, but in the morning we went to a flee market, then a farmers market to talk to people! It was really fun! Then we taught Caleb and Elijah, we taught them about the law of chastity Caleb (12 years old) had his head in a pillow screaming when his parents were explaining it more in depth. I was dying laughing, it was so dang funny! Then we had a lesson with Janice, and I have the strongest love for her! She is one of my favorite people, she's so tender and I just love her!

Transfers are coming up next week, and I find out who's going where this Saturday. I really don't want to leave Oak Ridge yet, I'm not ready to go!

I hope y'all are good and I'm sorry if you have sent me an email and I haven't answered you. My days are crazy, so don't think that I love you a little less because I haven't answered you. I love and appreciate the emails so much!

Love you to the moon.
