Boots Need Knockin'

Okay so this week was good! Nothing too crazy important happened! It went by fast but in the moment it went by soooo slow! I'll tell you about it.

So on Monday, it was pday and I got to talk to my family which is always soooo good! Can't wait until the day I get to hug them again! Nothing else really happened that day! 

Then on Tuesday, we went to lunch with one of our friends Janice and she is the best! We went to a Mexican restaurant called Zandunga Mexican Restaurant, it was pretty yummy actually! Then after lunch, we went to leave, but she wouldn't let us, she made us go to hobby lobby with her next door! I mean I don't mind a little shopping.

On Wednesday, we tried to do a lot of finding, we went Street contacting, we visited members and we also visited people who were taught in the past! That was also transfer day, but Sister Bosted and I weren't getting transfered, but the other sister we live with is training so she went and got her new missionary and brought her back! Shes really cute and fun to have around in the house, her name is Sister Oldroyd. 

On Thursday we had district council which was pretty good. I was kind of nervous for it because we got a new district leader and I heard that he was a really good missionary. and.. He is a good missionary, but very intimidating lol. It's good though because that's what our district needs is a really good leader! We all went to Chick-fil-A after and that was way fun! We had dinner at the Otterstiens, they feed us about every other week (which I look forward to it because she is an amazing cook) also I graduated a year ago today (see below), which is unbelievable, I'm so old. 

On Friday we did even more finding, and we were knockin doors that day and let me tell ya, knocking doors scares meeee! It's definitely not my favorite, whenever they answer the door, I feel my legs start to shake and I get nervous and forget what to say. But thank heavens for the spirit, because if it wasn't for that I don't think knocking doors would be successful on my part. We got to watch the chosen this night and that was pretty great!! We also got to go spend the night in the mission home this night. We didn't leave until about 10:30 to head over there, which was fun, i haven't drove around that late at night in a while. Also it was kind of weird because these beds were not too good, but I slept sooooo good! I don't know if it was the fact that we were just in a home or if it was because there was a priesthood holder in the home, couldn't tell ya but it was nice! 

On Saturday, not a lot happened this day except we got to go to the lake and play volleyball and that was really fun this week! People actually came and it was a party!!

Sundays are the best but also the worst, I love going to church, but after that, the day goes by so slow and it kind of sucks. Also it was fast Sunday, so I was really hungry this day too, but sacrifice!!

Anyways I'm doing pretty good and I'm pretty happy here in Oak Ridge!
