Mom Said So...

Alright I wasn't gonna write an email today, but mother told me I have too, so here we go.

Last week on Monday, we were in the church gym and Elder Noble and Elder Percival were hitting some golf balls, and Elder Noble hit one and it hit Sister Saunders right in the stomach. That was super bad but super funny at the same time lol!! That day I was feeling a little sad to be done talking with my family, but I decided to go into the night with a good attitude and I really really wanted to find someone new to teach and so we went out to contact some people that have been taught in the past and the first two doors weren't interested, but then maps took us to this random address and this lady came up to us and her name is Gwen, she wasn't the person we were looking for, in fact it was the total wrong address that maps took us too. Kind of cool, we are gonna go teach her again!

On Tuesday we had exchanges and they were so so good! I went with sister Ferrin and she's super sweet, her and I are a lot alike. We had a dinner with these people and they had the cutest little girl, I was obsessed with her. Her name was Bonny, and she was really tan and really blonde, I thought she was so cute. At one point her dad got home for work and she ran and gave him the biggest hug when she saw him. She kind of reminded me of me and my dad, it made me miss my dad lots! Also I held a chicken there too and that was kind of scary, I'm not very fond of birds haha. Also this night we got two calls at 12 am from the Assistants telling us that zone conference got bumped up an hour earlier. Then in the morning we got a call at 6 telling us the same thing.

So on Wednesday I was super tired during zone conference. It was super super good though. Elder Stanfill of the 70 was there, spirit was super strong. Fun fact about the book of Mormon is that there are only 6 chapters in the book of Mormon that don't talk about Jesus, on 6. It really is a testament of Jesus Christ. That night we got to go to young women's and they watched a movie, but the whole time I talked to one of the leaders, Sister McCombs, she is the best. She just went on a 7 day Disney cruise, I was a little jealous!

Then on Thursday Sister Bosted was sick so I did not a whole lot that day!

On Friday we went to this apartment complex to find people and we found this lady named Francis, and it was so fun. She kept saying "THANK YOU JESUS, HALLELUJAH" and then when I prayed with her she would say it during the prayer and she she would say in the name of Jesus. Something that I have never experienced before, but I liked it! Then after we left her a young man ran up to us and I was kind of scared and he started hitting on us. It was so funny, we told him we couldn't go on dates while on our mission, but he said he'd listen to our message and maybe get us some ice cream. It was really funny. Then after we walked away his friend yelled at him and went "EDDIE, EDDIE STOP FLIRTING WITH WHITE WOMEN" sister Bosted and I started laughing soooo hard, it was soooo funny!

On Saturday, we had scheduled to visit soooo many people and none of them answered their doors, literally none of them, that was frustrating because we really wanted to find new people to teach. But we were invited to this huge religious party in this neighborhood, and we wanted to go to the party but we didn't want to offend anyone or make them mad for barging into their party, but went and it was actually super fun!

On Sunday nothing big happened, except I forgot my tag to church so one of the young made me a tag a hahah!

It was a good week! I'm doing good!
