Neddo In The House

Wow okay, so this week was absolutely CRAZY, let me tell ya a little bit about it.

So on Monday we went bowling, I sadly did not win this time, but I did not lose either! I got to talk to my bestie Maiz for a couple of minutes and that was so so good to see her, I love that woman 

Sister Wallace told us she had something for us, so we stopped by and she gave us these rings and they are the cutest things ever. But mine is literally gone, idk if I lost it, but I took it off one night and couldn't find it ever since, I'm so sad about it. Don't tell her this :) 

We really really wanted to find someone this day so we prayed really hard to know where we should go, and we decided to go visit this man named Ernest. He was outside of his house fixing his deck. We talked to him a little bit about God's love for him and we asked if we could come back and share more and he was more than willing. He told us that he wanted the missionaries in the past to continue meeting with him, but they stopped because he was never home because of some shoulder surgery, it was such a miracle that we found him! 

Oh and then Sister Saunders cut my hair that night 

On Tuesday Sister Bosted was sick, so I did a lot of cleaning that day. Sister Saunders and Sister Oldroyd went and got sushi, so I asked them to get me some and they did and it was delicious. It probably was the highlight of my day.

On Wednesday we we and visited a lot of members because we found out that sister Bosted was getting transfered, so we visited people so she could tell them goodbye.

On Thursday we had interviews and they went really good, I testified to President Graham about how I know I am needed in Oak Ridge and that I'm supposed to be here. I talked a lot about my friend Janice and about how I have a really special bond with her. Also on Thursday I found out who my knew companion is!

Friday we went and saw Janice and had some lunch with her, that was super good. Sister Bosted said goodbye to her then we went and got blizzards at DQ, I got their new Carmel cheesecake flavor, it was so good! Then we went and got our new companions. My new comp is Sister Neddo pronounced Ned-O. She's super cool, she goes home in about 3 weeks, so don't get used to her haha. We got to watch the chosen again tonight and that was super cool! 

Saturday was the best day!!!!!! We had the Lavender Festival and there were SOOOO many people there, it was the best! We handed put sooooo many pictures of Jesus! Also I got this really cool bracelet. Back story, Grandpa Starkey in my first area made me this spoon ring and at this little tent thing they had this bracelet made out of the same spoons, I had to get it! Then after the lavender festival we had the best day, Sister Neddo and I popped off. We found 6 people to teach that day. Here are some of the miracles:

We went to teach our friend Francis today and she had two other friends there with her. One of them was interested and wants us to share more with her. The other one wasn't interested, but because we talked about Jesus Christ with him for a while, his heart softened a little bit. His name is Ottis and he played for the NBA! He was super super cool! He was talking about how the people in that complex really haven't been practicing their faith in Jesus Christ lately, so we felt prompted to give him some Jesus cards (we gave him like a stack of 15-20) he told us he would pass them out to the people. Then we went and visited some other people in that apartment complex and as we were leaving, we saw Ottis talking to this lady and she had a Jesus card in her hand.

We went to teach our friend Gwen tonight, she wasn't home but we knew that we were supposed to be there for a reason so we decided to knock a few doors! We found Jessie!! He's way awesome! He moved here from Washington State where he had a ton of contact with the church! We told him we teach about restored truths and asked if he would want to learn more. He said "well yes of course!" SO COOL!!!

On Sunday our friend Janice came to church for the first time in person ever ahhhhhh! Things are moving so well with her, and I love her soooo much! Brother Greenhalgh called me sunshine today and that made me happy! I made dinner, and I cooked it longed than required and it was still crunchy. Ugh! I got to talk to my dad tonight too, that was really good, I love that man! 

Anyways I'm good how are you doing?
