"GET OFF MY LAWN"

Hey Y'all

Hope everything is going well for you, I miss you!

 

 

My week was pretty good!! On Monday we were looking for some of our friends and so we knocked on their apartment door, and little do we know that that's not their apartment. But we were told that someone of that household was actually interested in our church, his name is Devon. He is the coolest. We walked around and talked with him for a while. He told us that he got baptized in our church. Then he went on to tell us about how he got in a really bad motorcycle accident, someone hit him from the back going 70 miles an hour. He told us that he was in a coma for 2 months and in the hospital for 2 years. We invited him to come to family history night to do some temple names to take to the temple. I went on exchanges on Wednesday with sister swift and that was super fun! We went to family history that night and Devon was there, but he shortly found out that he had gotten Baptized into a different church, so he is not a member. He felt so bad that he told us he was baptized because he can't remember all things because of his accident.

 

 

We had gamenight this week and we went and played volleyball which was super super fun! Hahah this man yelled at us to get off of his property :( I guess he didn't want to hear a message, he was so mad.

 

 

One day this week we got dropped off in this town and we just decided to walk everywhere we go. That was fun, but it was sooooo hot. We got a sonic slushy that made up for the heat though!

 

 

On Saturday we got to teach Devon the restoration and we brought some members, it went so great! Then we were completely heartbroken because Devon told us that he was moving to Florida on Monday. Super sad. He told us we could send the missionaries to him in Florida though so I guess it's ok.

 

 

I'm doing good y'all, still trying to get to know my new area and all the people here, but it's good.
