Miracle Chattt

Hey y'all, sorry I didn't write a weekly email last week, I broke my phone on accident and had to get a new one. All is well now!

Here are some miracles that I've seen from the past two weeks.

After having a rough couple of days, we were led to visit a member in the ward tonight! She was able to give us advice and just sit and talk about all of these different things within the church. She really lifted our spirits right when we needed it, Sister King was our miracle today:)

-we were having a rough week two weeks ago and we just went and had a mom talk with this member and it was really what we needed!

 On Friday we were informed that we sadly could not go to the temple today with our district. We were lost and kind of discouraged about not being able to go, but the best thing happened after comp study today. We got a call from a really nice Brother in the Newport Branch and he asked us if we could unlock the church for him today for his daughters baptism. We got talking with him for a minute and we asked if we could fill up the font for them and he told us that that would be a huge help. He then told us that we could invite one of our friends to come with us. We were so excited because we knew that this is why we didn't get to go to the temple today. We invited our friend Charles to come to the baptism. We knew that this would be great for him to see a father baptize his daughter, because Charles really really wants to baptize his daughter when she turns 8. Charles was able to come to the baptism and he loved it so much, we even had the little girl that got baptized come up to him after and tell him how she felt. She said she felt warm inside and really hyped up. Charles texted us right after and told us that it was an amazing feeling to be there and that it makes him really excited to be baptized as well. We got talking to the brother from Newport and he told us that this morning he woke up and felt that the baptism should just happen at our church building. Then he said when he was talking to us on the phone that the spirit prompted him to tell us to invite a friend. The spirit works in miraculous ways, God is so so good. #Charlesishypedforthe17th #bestbaptismever #GodisGOOD

 - this was the best miracle and definitely made us less sad for not being able to go to the temple

Fun fact I have been learning how to do family history and I've been loving it! Found some names to take to the temple too!

We got to bring some cookies over to a grey dot! We had visited him awhile ago but then felt like we should drop by some cookies. Later in the night, we got a call from him thanking us for dropping by some cookies and helping him feel God's love! He kept saying how grateful he was for us and the reminder we are to him that God loves him. He then told us to stop by sometime this next week!!

When doing FHE with a family tonight, the mom gave us a referral for someone she met that wants to go to a church that is centered on the doctrine of Christ.

We went to visit a referral that hasn't been answering our texts or calls. When we got to the house, we both were second guessing being there but decided to just get over ourselves and go up and knock on the door. We got to meet two new friends!! They are the best and we ended up talking to both of them for over an hour about God and His influence in our lives! They both invited us to come back soon so that we can all talk about God together!!

-she gave us both rings and charms right before we left. She was a little crazy but I lover her.

I'm Sunday yesterday we had stake conference in Clinton Tennessee. Clinton ward shares with the Oak Ridge ward, so I have been to Clinton quite a bit. Anyways we had stake conference there yesterday and I got to see so many people that I love from my last area. I got to see the Greenhalghs, sister Menzel, the Burchams, president Dahl, and so many more people that I love, it was soooo good to be back. They were all so excited to see me, they didn't know I would be there so they were all a little shocked.

Also I dyed my hair like two weeks ago today, so that was fun! A couple people have bullied me about my hair ahah, gotta love people in the south, they tell you what they think! This one lady asked me if I was dressing up as a whitch for Halloween 

We also went to the new missionary follow up on Thursday for sister Erekson and that was a party!

All things are good in Talbott/Morristown!
