The Week I Fell In The Shower... :|
Hey y'all it's been a really good week this week, it went by quick. A couple of bad things happened to me this week though, I'll tell you about them!
First things first, I fell in the shower one morning. I'm okay, it didnt hurt too bad, but my body is/was sore after.
A really really cool miracle that happened this week is this
HOLD UP, MIRACLE IN BEARDEN...
Y'all will never guess what happened to us today hehe:) So today in my personal study, I was studying a children's song called God's Daily Care and one of the scriptures it had with it is psalms 68:19 that scripture verse says
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
When I first read that I had no idea what Selah meant, so of course I looked it up on word web. Jump to later in the day, we were visiting someone who had been taught in the past and we were actually standing at her door for a while. Well the ladies daughter and her friend answered the door and came out and talked to us. She told us that her and her mom are looking for a new church. We talked to her and her friend about prayer and they said they pray every night and that they love it. We asked for their names and they said Kylan and Selah. Selah was the grey dots daughter and we told her her name was cool and she said that it's from the Book of psalms. When she said it, that's when I realized that that was the word from my study. We are going back to visit them next week and we are super excited! Super long miracle, but super cool.

MIRACLE IN BEARDEN PT2!
Today, we went and stopped by a household who was previously taught. We were able to meet our friend Shirley!! At first, she wasn't open to us coming back. But as we explained what we do as missionaries and our beliefs, Shirley's heart softened:) she gave us her number and invited us back next week so we can all sit down and talk!! The Spirit truly softens people's hearts as we testify of truth! She was also able to talk about how much she loved past missionaries! So when she saw our tags through the window, she knew she had to open the door and talk to us! The past missionaries dont realize that its because of them that a door was opened for us today:)) YAY FOR NEW FRIENDS

The second bad thing that happened to me this week is that I broke my glasses :(
This week we went to a YSA activity and it was a how to play volleyball activity and there was people running it and everything. It took me back. I loved it so much, I finally got to hit again and that felt sooo good. You could definitely tell that I haven't played in almost 2 years, but it was still so good! My body has never hurt so badly afterword, especially between my shoulders from hitting.
We talked to our neighbor downstairs her name is Lauren and she told us about her son who always says that he's gonna go live with the girls upstairs ahaha. We thought that was cute, so we decided that we were gonna write him a little letter and fill it with stickers. So we did exactly that and a couple days later we got home to a bucket with perfume and lotion in it and a paper that says "thank you for the stickers girls" with a big heart on it.
We made cupcakes with our friend Claire and that was super fun, she is the sweetest ever.
We went bowling last pday and that was super fun, I'm starting to realize thatmy body is pretty weak because that made my body sore also.
I think the last bad thing that happened is that we were supposed to go to the temple with a member and she canceled so we didn't get to go :(
We had transfer calls on Saturday and I will be leaving Bearden/YSA and I will be heading to Weaverville NC. My new companions name is Sister Asay (a-cee) she seems super sweet so I'm excited. Also we will be whitewashing into a new area. So that means we both will be getting to a new area and we will both know nothing about the area :).
I'm sad to leave all the people I love here, but I'm so excited to grow even more and meet so many more new people. YAY FOR MISSIONARY WORK!
love ya lots
