No Miles=Only Walking...

Hey Y'all, happy Monday and happy Easter week... Yay for Jesus
Hope you enjoyed general conference if you watched it, and I hope you received all the revelation that you need.

My week was super quick and super good. We went on exchanges this week and I went with Sister Hurley and we spent the day in the boonies...  Sometimes I like being out there, but on exchanges it wasn't my favorite. Woulda been nice to knock more doors, but each house was 3 miles apart.

Sooo this week was the end of March and every month we are given a certain number of miles that we can use, and they restart at the start of the month. Well this week we ran out of miles on Wednesday. So that meant that Thursday and Friday, we were on feet. Lol that was rough. Though blisters, sore feet and legs we got through it. I think in total we walked almost 11 miles, it felt like we walked 74 though. It was super fun, I kind of liked it and it was a good comp bonding moment. We also saw miracles through it too.

Miracles in Weaverville
So today and yesterday we have been out walking because we are out of miles.. Yesterday was kind of tough mentally and physically, but we knew we would see miracles through all of this.
Today we were walking and we walked passed this street, but then we reevaluated and decided to turn around and go down that road. The first door we knocked is our new friend Melody, she's super sweet. She said she already has a church that she would go to if she went to church, but she accepted a book of Mormon and is welcoming us back next week!

Then 3 miles later..
We saw a lady unloading her groceries and we went and asked her if we could help, she said no, but she told us that she wants us to come back next week to talk with us. We gave her a Book of Mormon and she said that her daughter went to Utah once and got a book of Mormon, but she has never had one before. She was grateful to receive one of her own.

General Conference was super good, so many of my questions were answered. On Saturday we didn't have anyone invite us come over to watch conference with them, so we decided to set up a little area in the church with comfy chairs and the flat-screen TV. That was super fun of us we really needed that spiritual upliftment after days and days and days of hard labor walking everywhere ;)

Anyways I'm good, hope y'all are too!
Love you

Peace
Sister Merritt
